September 5, 2002, We took Chloe to
the lung doctor today and he told us that Chloe must be getting Nebulizer
treatments because she is having difficulty breathing. This is a precautionary
action because Chloe is at risk for Asthma. This was a frustrating
episode for us, because we hope that this would be the last time Chloe
would see the lung doctor. |

We took Chloe to our Church retreat which was a 2 1/2 hour trip by the map and
longer with a baby on board. Chloe, handled the trip with flying colors. |

September 14, 2002 Chloe celebrated her first birthday with our Church at a church retreat. This was very special for both Cheryl and I because without their prayers and support we don't know how we would of made it through the journey that God laid before us. The previous year, on the first day of retreat, Cheryl and I got a glowing report from the doctor stating that Chloe would make it to 31 weeks. Two days later Chloe was born and many church members was there with Cheryl and I in the hospital. We had the Church pray for healing of Chloe's lungs. This is Chloe's last
hurdle to overcome, before she can be placed in the "normal" zone. |

| September 15, 2002 We came back from
the retreat and Chloe took the trip very well. |

September 16, 2002 Chloe visited the
NICU for her birthday and one of her doctors just held her for the
entire time. It was good to see all of the nurses and the attending
doctor. Chloe being 18 1/2 pounds is a huge baby from their perspective. |

A Strange thing happend on Chloe's birthday and each day until January 2, 2003. Cheryl and I spent a portion of the day talking about what we went through on that day a year before when Chloe was in the hospital. |
