On April 1, 2002 We got rid of all of the Oxygen
gizmos and gadgets that took up space. Chloe fortunately did not need
it for the duration, but the lung doctor had us keep it, in case of
an emergency. |

| On April 2, Mom took Chloe to Walmart. A friend of the family held her for the entire stay at Walmart. Anyway, talk about over stimulation, well she hit her maximum stimulation level. | ||

On April 5, Chloe went to see the Pediatrician for her every other month visit. He (well really a nursed did this) weighed her and measured her and noticed that Chloe is gaining weight fine, but she has not been growing very well. Chloe did not even make the adjusted preemie scale (since preemies are behind in growth develoment it is not fair to judge them with a full term baby). Other than that Chloe was doing very well, so much that the doctor took Chloe of of her Reglan, but increased her Zantac. We are now only seeing the Peditrician every 3 months and we are enjoying life. Though we are wondering if Chloe is the runt of the litter or she is a slow grower. After the appointment we took Chloe into the NICU to visit all of the nurses who took care of her. The nurses are very special to us, Cheryl and I could not be with Chloe 24/7, but the nurses were and they treated Chloe like she was their very own. We could not ask for better and we got better than we could imagine. Also the NICU doctor who delivered Chloe was their and when he saw her he immediatly held Chloe. It was good that he was there and that he got to see Chloe. I still remeber all of his words that he told me when Chloe was born and how attentive he was to Chloe. |
