Chloe's web site has not been updated but here is what is happening to Chloe.

February 25, 2003. Chloe had one of those expensive Synagis shot for her second RSV season. I played the bad parent and held her down during the shot. I spoke in a calm cool voice telling her phrases like "Big Wedding", "Expensive Wedding" and phrases along that theme. Anyway, Chloe was in tears for about 30 seconds and then she was fine.

This is the last season for the Synagis shots and we are grateful because they are very expensive. As a premie parent, I have seen huge bills with my name attatched that I could never imagine. These Synagis shots are one of those that cause me great pain. Each shot contains multiple doses and each dose cost $1,400.00. Chloe gets one shot each month from September to March. The price of course does not include doctors visit.

This is a good time to tell everyone again about the importance of medical insurance with a little story behind it.

Two years ago Cheryl was depressed about not being able to have a child. She was so depressed that she wanted to drop maternity coverage inorder to save a few bucks. She never did and more was ended up being saved.

I mention this because after Chloe was in the hospital for a long time I saw those medical bills. From that day forth, I do not even feel any pain when I have to pay the medical premium. In fact, the cable bill hurts me more than my medical insurance.

February 9, 2003. Mom set up a big photo shoot for Chloe and some of the pictures are on this page. Chloe enjoyed it and the grandmothers got pictures as a result of this.
